OPEN POSITIONS:

 

Project Architect   (5-10 Years of Experience)

Our Ideal Candidate

Is a hard-working, detail-oriented professional, committed to exemplary design and the advancement of the architect’s leadership role in the industry.

Demonstrates knowledge of building codes, construction budgets, project budgets and other professional practice issues.

Contributes superior communication, management and organizational skills.

Has an understanding of construction details, methods and materials on a range of construction types.

Exhibits leadership, mentoring and directing team members and effectively maintaining relationships with clients and consultants.

Is self-directed and a self starter.

Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for the industry; takes an active role in local professional
associations and in the community.

Requirements

BARCH or MARCH Degree in Architecture from an NCARB accredited program.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an architect/designer on built projects.

Demonstrates mastery of AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Adobe CSS programs; proficiency in Revit is considered a plus.

Architectural Registration is preferred

LEED accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides overall leadership for multiple and complicated residential, mixed-use and commercial projects.

Evaluate design requirements; prepare and/or supervise site and building analysis.

Explores innovative design concepts and solutions.

Prepares and presents design drawings and assists in presentations both internally and externally (to clients, and to review organizations).

Supervises the development of renderings and presentation materials for client and/or public presentations.

Generates project documents including plans, sections, details, and project manual in coordination of a complete construction document package.

Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.

Develops and facilitates project schedule.

Serves as a major contributor during client meetings and presentations, providing leadership and organization.

Oversees the design work of others, promoting integrated and cohesive designs.

Presents design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.

Mentors and trains junior staff.

Maintains and develops relationships with existing clients and cultivates new client relationships.

Contributes to the spirit and vibrancy of the studio.

Marketing Coordinator

Is an excellent writer and communicator.

Contributes a strong level of design sensibility and graphic capabilities.

Works well with others and has refined interpersonal skills. Is articulate and poised in all communications and interactions with staff and partners, and while representing the firm externally.

Effectively tackles multiple tasks, managing priorities and working efficiently under multiple deadlines.

Works independently, is self-directed and resourceful.

Able to direct others during critical times and manage marketing projects from start to completion.

Commands strong organizational skills and is detail and deadline oriented.

Is technologically savvy.

Has experience in proposal preparation and proposal management.

Demonstrates enthusiasm, positivity and confidence.

Is interested in architecture and design!

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Graphic Design, Architecture or related field.

Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant professional experience; professional services marketing and/or experience with a design firm is preferred.

Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office is required.

Basic multimedia/web skills: working knowledge of HTML, CSS; experience

Responsibilities

Support general marketing and business-development activities.

Manage, organize, edit, assist with writing and lead the final production of all marketing and communications deliverables (qualifications, RFPs, presentations and miscellaneous marketing correspondence).

Organize and maintain a high-volume of digital marketing records including project photography and graphics, project information, fact sheets, consultant lists, client lists, staff resumes, awards lists and media articles and mentions.

Manage firm participation in profile-raising industry awards programs: maintain awards calendar, create and manage project submissions to regional and national programs.

Design graphic pieces: business advertisements (print +digital), internal office art, awards and presentation boards

Ensure firm website is up-to-date: manage updates using a WordPress-based platform, create new content and blog posts, and coordinate with website developer when necessary

Write, design and disseminate regular DesignLINE Email blasts via MailChimp and maintain email mailing lists

Assist with event planning for client parties, project tours, and firm outings, etc.

Provide firm-wide graphic and writing support as necessary.

Manage firm social media accounts: LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Houzz, Architizer, Facebook.

Champion a strong office culture: organize firm events and activities, proactive internal communication and announcements, perpetuate and encourage an environment of creativity and collaboration.
