Our Community Commitment
In October we met Xavier, a 15-year-old aspiring architect who is also in need of a permanent adoptive home. We were introduced to Xavier through NBC Washington’s Barbara Harrison and Wednesday’s Child, an organization that partners with local broadcast media to feature foster children waiting to be adopted.
Xavier visited our studio to experience a day in the life of an architect. We were impressed with his goal of studying architecture so that he can design housing. Xavier’s passion reminded us of the tremendous importance of residential design and its powerful impact on its occupants and the greater community. We are thankful to have met Xavier and hope that we were able to help connect him with a caring and deserving family!
