His involvement has been rewarding as he has witnessed UDARP’s effectiveness with improving urban connection, design concepts, and building and site detail.

We are pleased to report that Bill Bonstra, FAIA, LEED AP continues as a Senior Visiting Critic at The Catholic University School of Architecture and Planning. Each fall, Bill leads a graduate design studio in the Real Estate Development Concentration for Professor of Practice Judy Meany, FAICP.

Promoting a design methodology that he has implemented in his own practice, Bill’s curriculum provides students with exposure to development sites and to real-life issues of market analysis, urban master planning, infill architectural design, and facade tectonics. The curriculum places an emphasis on the practical challenges of zoning, building codes, and context analysis.
