Built in 1967, this eight-story apartment building on a prominent corner in the West End neighborhood was in need of an update to amplify its value for a predominantly investor ownership. The entry canopy, automobile drop-off, entrance, lobby and reception area, elevator lobbies as well as the building’s public corridors at all levels were renovated to improve the appearance and efficiency of this 160-unit building. The design incorporated rich wood paneled walls, up-lit tray ceilings, stone flooring, energy efficient lighting, textured gypsum panels, and frosted glass doors complementing its modest mid-20th-century modern design.
