The International Monetary Fund’s Bond Building was restored to its original function as a high-profile apartment building and restored to its original early 20th-century design. Built in the 1920s, the original Bond Building functioned as an apartment building until 1972 when it was connected to the adjacent Concordia for use as an extended-stay facility for the IMF. The renovation program involved the addition of thirteen new units, including four new courtyard units at the lower level, and amenities including a fitness center and a rooftop deck. Unit interiors and public spaces were upgraded with modern systems, features and finishes throughout.
