Located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, 1349 Kenyon Street, NW has been renovated for modern living while retaining the character of the existing building. A new steel-and-glass canopy has been added above the main entry and the existing main lobby has been entirely renovated with a new tiled floor, rich wood panels, a contemporary color scheme and steel-and-glass handrails and guardrails. The formerly vacant basement level has been fully reconfigured and renovated to accommodate eight new residential dwelling units. On the floors above, existing common area finishes, fixtures and lighting have been replaced. New HVAC systems and upgraded water and electrical utilities support improvements to existing dwelling units. Existing kitchens have been opened to unit living and dining areas for open floor plans.
