AIA, LEED AP BD+C to the critically important National Architectural Accreditation Board of Directors and to celebrate staff architect Daniel Seidman, AIA’s successful completion of experience and testing to become a registered architect. These milestone achievements demonstrate John and Daniel’s commitment to the profession.

Associate Partner
John has been elected to the National Architectural Accreditation Board of Directors for 2025-2027! NAAB focuses on upholding a high educational standard for architecture programs across the nation, ensuring the longevity of our industry and a fostered creativity and expertise for our future architects.
With over 27 years of experience in the architectural profession, John Edwards, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has worked with B|HA since 2005, directing a diverse portfolio including historic renovations, new construction, adaptive reuse conversions, and large-scale master planning projects. As the firm’s Senior Sustainable Design Leader, Mr. Edwards contributes an expert understanding of sustainable technologies and certification processes. He has served on design juries for the UMD School of Architecture, American Resort Development Association and the CUA School of Architecture, as well as presenting at CUA’s continuing education program on sustainable design. A native DC resident, Mr. Edwards has an undergraduate degree in political science and history from the University of Virginia as well as an M.Arch. from the University of Maryland.
Daniel Seidman, AIA
Project Architect
Daniel has been a member of our team since 2022 and this month he officially became a registered architect with the completion of his Architect Registration Examinations. Congratulations to Daniel for reaching this important milestone!
Daniel has over eight years of experience in all phases of single-family and multi-family design. With a background in physics, Daniel blended his passions for science and art in transitioning to architecture. Originally from Washington, DC, he had the opportunity to remodel and preserve historical homes in Massachusetts before returning to the nation’s capital with a shift to multi-family residential. At Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS, Daniel has advanced projects through precise design and coordination, including a new 29 story mixed-use project at 8676 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, MD, a major mixed use masterplan in Montgomery County, a clubhouse design, and renovations and expansion of existing multifamily projects. Daniel enjoys hand sketching to explore designs and is a firm leader with the latest design technology including 3D printing.
