Throughout one’s career, achievement of professional milestones are important moments of celebration and reflection. These achievements demonstrate commitment to the future to inspire, engage, and strengthen the design profession and Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS. In recent weeks, we are proud to have recognized pivotal accomplishments for several team members including architectural licensure and expanded roles in our leadership! Elevated Leadership

MUZAHID “RONNIE” ALI, LEED AP

Senior Associate | Senior Project Team Leader

Muzahid ‘Ronnie’ Ali, LEED AP, has extensive experience in architectural design, project management, and team leadership. Ronnie has over 29 years of experience and spent the last 27 years of his professional career actively working on various project typologies in the DMV area and other states. He is experienced with various small-and large-scale projects including residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use development as well as complex renovation projects. His project portfolio includes new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse and large-scale master planning. He joined B|HA in 2018 and has successfully guided and completed multiple large-scale residential projects in Virginia and DC and is currently leading a large-scale high-rise mixed-use development in Maryland. With degrees in architecture from Bangladesh and Virginia Tech, Ronnie oversees and manages multiple projects and leads, mentors, and energizes team members to achieve their individual and collective goals. He is well versed in managing project timelines, collaborating with clients, client representatives, consultants, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals. He has a sound understanding of codes and regulations, particularly related to the counties and cities in the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC markets.

Ronnie has recently been named a Senior Associate at Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS.


New Leadership

MILAN GLISIC, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, ASID

Associate | Project Architect

Milan is a seasoned professional with proven professional experience in design, architecture, sustainability and engineering. Raising the standard of urban built design as an owner, principal, and leading manager, he is an experienced leader with cross-functional teams of more than 350 employees dedicated to improvement of complex urban and social conditions since 1996. Milan has extensive experience with multi-family residential design and construction administration of projects working with leading general contractors in the Washington Metropolitan region. As a LEED and WELL accredited professional, Milan is committed to sustainable and socially responsible design approach in built environment. Since joining B|HA, Milan has worked on a variety of affordable housing projects with Jubilee Housing, as well as award-winning projects such as the Kanawha and the Aldea.

Milan has recently been named an Associate at Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS.


New Leadership & Newly Licensed

ALANNA GLADNEY, AIA

Associate | Project Architect

Alanna has over 13 years of experience within the industry. Her diverse portfolio includes professional experience in adaptive reuse projects, mixed use projects, and commercial interiors among other project types. She is adept at design, client communications, and consultant coordination—propelling projects from conceptual design through construction. Alanna enjoys working in architecture and urban design because it gives her the opportunity to create spaces that contribute to the wellbeing of people and that are respectful of the environment. In addition, Alanna has passion for giving back and merges that with her passion for design through her involvement in programs and organizations such as Design Like A Girl and Space of Her Own among others.

Alanna has recently acquired her architecture license and been named an Associate at Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS.
